Beaulieu Park Development, Commercial, Residential & Community Buildings, Chelmsford, Essex

This contract involving the construction of four individual buildings within the Beaulieu Park project and was the biggest undertaken by Plasufix to date, requiring a site presence for well over 12 months.

The gable end barge and column details had to be designed based on the architects drawings in three sections with pre-made junctions and corner sections together with all necessary fixing bracketry to the steel framework. This was complicated even more by the central section being a different colour to the outer sections and having to work mainly from Motorised Elevating Working Platforms due to time constraints of the contract. We also installed aluminium gutters, rainwater pipes and circular columns which form an impressive collonade along the front of the commercial buildings.
